A child’s first dental visit should be age 1 or within six months of the eruption of the first tooth, as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) and American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

These visits usually consist of an oral examination, cleaning of your child’s teeth, fluoride application, a cavity-risk analysis and a overall assessment of your child’s growth and development.

These are a very good preventative measure for children that display a risk for cavities.

Each child is individually assessed to determine the best method of sedation.

Crowns are indicated when the cavity consumes a majority of the tooth and a conventional filling will not hold.

We offer white fillings for all teeth.  These fillings allow us to be conservative in the amount of tooth that is removed during the filling process.
